I am running for Senate District 1 because our previous and current senators have been part of the Do-Nothing Party for at least the last eight years. Nothing of consequence has been done for our communities regardless of how the District’s border lines were drawn. I’ve gotten feedback from all sides of the political spectrum and the opinion of these folks is one of being left out in the cold. I will not sit and do nothing and promise to do my best to get things done. I will commit to annual town halls in each of the district’s counties to get comments from my constituents.

• Health – Mental and physical.

• Jobs – Attract technology and manufacturing jobs.

• Coastal and Inland – Reassert tourism, agriculture, conservation, and timber industries.

• Financial – Increase efforts to bring in State and Federal dollars.

These will be my beginning efforts to bring prosperity to our communities.
I will work with all the members of the Senate to achieve a better future for our communities and beyond our District.
But I cannot do it alone.
